Customer Experience

What is the process to purchase?

1. Take photos and some measurements (height and length) of the windows and doors that you would like to screen.
2. Send the info to us on Whatsapp to get an estimated quotation.
3. If you are keen to proceed, we will arrange for an on-site measurement.
4. After the on-site visit, we will provide the final quotation.
5. Payment of deposit to confirm your order and schedule for installation.

Do you have a showroom?

Our showroom is located at One Commonwealth, by appointment basis only. Contact us at least 1 day in advance to secure a slot.

Can I visit your showroom on weekends?

Our showroom is opened on Saturday, by appointment only. As Saturday slots are limited, you may wish to make your booking at least 3-5 days in advance to secure a slot.

Pricing

What are the payment terms and methods?

We require a 50% deposit to confirm your order. The remaining 50% is paid after completion of installation. Payment can be made via PayNow, PayLah or bank transfers.

Are the prices inclusive of installation?

Yes our prices include measurements and installation.

Do I have to pay for on-site measurement?

No. We offer complimentary on-site measurement and deposit is paid only after you have confirmed the final quotation.

What are the prices of your insect and cat screens?

There is no fixed price as each screen is customised to size. In general, we charge by per square feet with a minimuim price per mesh and 9% GST. Whatsapp us with the photos and measurements of your windows or doors to get an estimated quotation from us.

Is there a minimum order amount?

There is a minimum requirement of $218 per order for Magnetic Screens and $392.40 per order for any other screen types (GST inclusive).

Installation

Can your mesh screens be installed on all types of windows and doors?

Our screens are customised to fit different windows and doors. Contact us to find the best screen that suits your lifestyle and home.

If my windows have grilles, curtains or blinds, can I still install a mesh screen?

In general, there are no issues with installing the screens on windows with grilles, curtains or blinds. During the on-site visit, we will take these factors into consideration and recommmend the best solution that fits your home.

Do I need to replace my windows entirely to install the mesh screens?

No, our screens are an addition to your existing windows or doors.

Is drilling required for the installation?

We will assess if there is a need for drilling based on the screen type chosen and the condition of your existing window or door. If you have specific requirements or prefer not to have drilling, you may let us know in advance and we will recommend the best solution accordingly.

Maintenance

How do I clean my mesh screens?

For regular cleaning, you may use a damp microfiber cloth or a vaccuum cleaner to clean the mesh directly. For an occassional deep cleaning, you may remove the screen and wash it under running water.

How often should I clean my mesh screens?

A clean mesh will ensure better air flow and ventilation. We recommend a regular cleaning at least once a week with a cloth or vaccuum cleaner, and a thorough cleaning with water once a month to prevent accumulation of dirt, dust or fur.

How long can a mesh screen last?

With proper care, our insect and cat screens can last for years! Each mesh screen is carefully sourced and made with high-quality and durable materials. With proper care and maintenance, a screen can typically last for 5 to 10 years.

Do the screens come with warranty?

Yes, we offer warranty on installation, manufacturing and mechanism defects on the screen system only. Events of wear and tear, accidental or deliberate damages, and also the Mesh itself, are not covered. Contact us to find out more about the warranty of each product.

Do you repair damaged or old screens?

If your screen is purchased from us, we will assess the damage and condition of the screens and advise further. We are unable to repair or maintain screens that are not purchased from us.

Insect Mesh Screens

What type of mesh screen prevent mosquitoes, lizards and cockroaches?

We have a range of window and door screens that prevent insects from entering your home including Magnetic, Sliding, Swing and Retractable insect screens. Our 100% sealed options would be the Magnetic and Swing screens.

What should I look out for when purchasing insect mesh screens?

You should consider the compatibility of the screen type with your lifestyle habits, usage and concerns. Some questions to help you:
– Is your main concern with just flying insects such as mosquitoes or both flying and crawling insects?
– Do you require frequent access to outdoors such as hanging your laundry, opening and closing the windows or doors?
– Do you live on a high floor, windy area or near the sea?
– Do you have a budget?

Do the insect screens block ventilation?

You may feel a slight decrease in the windflow but it does not block ventilation entirely. The screen acts as a filter as well so the breeze you enjoy indoors is cleaner than without.

Cat Mesh Screens

What is the difference between pet mesh and regular mesh?

While both pet and regular meshes are able to prevent insects from entering, pet meshes are made of materials that are designed to withstand cat scratches and heavy weight. We offer cat-friendly screens in 316 Stainless Steel and Polyester mesh types.

Which is the strongest pet mesh for cats?

While all our cat screens are scratchproof and weight-bearing, we recommend that you take into consideration the compatibility of the screen type with your lifestyle habits, usage and concerns as well. Some questions to help you:
– Is your cat very active?
– Do you require frequent access to outdoors such as hanging your laundry, opening and closing the windows or doors?
– Do you live near the sea?

Are the screens safe for children?

Even though our mesh screens come with lock options and able to take the force and weight of pets, they are not designed and certified for the safety of children.
